Treo Button Manager is a program to manage all the button overlay files (skins) that are available for the Treo 600 and 650 smart phone. Many of these overlay files can be found in the discussion groups at various Treo web sites. The most complete collection is available at: mytreo.net. Many are also available at: "Treo Central". Some Treo 650 overlay files can be found here.
IMPORTANT: Overlay files are Treo model specific. Make sure that you use overlay files that are made specifically for your Treo model. Treo 600 overlay files will not work on the 650 and vise versa.
Typically, to install an overlay you have to erase the old one, and then sync over a new one. With Treo Button Manager you simply HotSync the overlay files to your SD card (this program requires that you have one), and use the "Import Overlay Files" option. Once the overlay files have been imported to Treo Button Manager, you launch the program and select the overlay file that you want, and it is instantly installed. There is even a "Random" button that selects one for you randomly. |

HotSync the "btnmgr.prc" file to your Treo.
HotSync the overlay files that you wish to use to use to your Treo, with the SD card selected as the destination. For more information on how to install files directly to your SD card click here. Additionally, overlay files can be manually installed to Button Manager by copying them to the /aquabuttons folder on the SD card.
Then press the "IMPORT" button in Button Manager. The overlay files will import to Treo Button Manager.
To select an overlay file to use, highlight it and press the "Install" button.
